Poem: The Judgment Feast

The wind that fainted in sky,
The sparrows that sang the dirge,
The moon that fathered the crash,
The space that fainted at windstorm;
That dribbled you to sleep in bulk,
The stars that beat the drums,
The sun that quenched at the call,
The cloud that collapsed at the call,
The breath that vanished in a trice,
A white was pilot to your plane;
His brilliance that fainted at the call
Were witness to might of death!

The land that bore the scraps,

Wherefrom your trip began,
The two kingdom gate that openedd,
The Black and White Angels receptioned,
At the T-junction that you hooked,
The narrow road and wide road that led,
The Black and White judges that presided the court,
The book that was chief justice,
The camera that filmed from nativity,
The drama that gave account,
The law that was harsh,
The Merciful that was Merciless,
Were the witness to Creator’s reign!

The black soldiers that trooped from left,
The white angels that chorused welcome songs,

The choice that you were given,
The choice yet that was far-off,
The desire that was scarce,
The paradise that smiled from right,
The furnace that loomed from left,
The tongues that gnashed in fire,
The tongues that praised in songs,
The regrets that pushed in doom,
The tears that were scarce,
The memories that whetted pains,
The memories that geared joy,
The chasm betwixt saints and devils,
The tongues that gnashed in fire,
The tongues that praised in songs
Were the complements of the seasons!
